A quick and honest note about links on this site.
Some of the links on Carla’s Blog are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and decide to buy something, I may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
It’s one of the ways I keep this blog running (and pay for things like hosting, tools, and the unreasonable amount of coffee required for research).
What This Means for You
- You never pay more because of an affiliate link.
- I don’t accept paid placements, paid rankings, or “say nice things about this” deals.
- I only link to products I’ve researched and genuinely think could be useful to someone.
If something is great, I’ll say so.
If something is disappointing, overpriced, or just not worth it, I’ll say that too.
Why I Use Affiliate Links
Running a blog takes time, energy, and money. Affiliate links help support the work without:
- showing ads everywhere,
- selling your data, or
- turning the site into a sales funnel.
Think of it as a small thank-you for the research — like buying me a coffee, but in internet form.
Your Trust Matters Most
I care more about being helpful and honest than about commissions.
If I ever recommend something that turns out to be a bad choice for you, that matters more to me than any small income from a link.
This blog only works if you trust it.
Questions?
If you ever have questions about a link, a recommendation, or how something is funded, you’re always welcome to reach out.
Thanks for being here!
